Rick Mayer is an investor, philanthropist and photographer.  He spent the earlier part of 

After a stint on Wall Street in commercial finance at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company, Rick established a trade and investment research company that fostered international joint and co-ventures. He has been a director of his family’s charitable foundation for over 25 years focusing grants on projects in arts, education and youth.  His personal family foundation, The MFund, is dedicated to supporting sustainable agriculture.

Currently Rick is a partner in creating the World Cycling League, a professional track cycling league.  To accommodate increased interest in track cycling, he is simultaneously in the process of building two velodromes; one in PA and the other in New Haven. At Yale Rick majored in Latin American Studies.  Rick lives with his wife and five children in Guilford, CT and attempts to find time to ride his bicycle, hunt, photograph and fly fish.

Rick serves as President of the ATA and also serves on the Investment Committee, as Co-Chair of the Annual Fund, and as a member of the ATA Working Group. He was the chair of the B.S. Renovation Committee and also served on the CR Restoration Committee. He is a mentor in the SAMI program.
