Grant Felgenhauer is a Principal at Euphrates Advisors, where he co-manages the firm’s investments in Iraq. Previously Grant was a partner at Hermitage Capital Management, the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia until its exit in 2007. From 2001 to 2003, Grant practiced corporate law in the Washington and London offices of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. Earlier in his career, he worked in Moscow as an assistant to the team of senior U.S. economic advisors to President Yeltsin.
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Grant holds a BA in Economics and Russian Studies, where he rowed four years on the Heavyweight Crew. In 2001, he received a JD from Columbia Law School, where was a Kent Scholar.
Grant sits on the boards of several investment funds based in the UK and Singapore, and he is a Trustee of the American University of Iraq Foundation. He is a member of the New York Bar and speaks fluent Russian.
Grant currently serves as the Treasurer of the Anthony Trust Association and is a member of the Investment Committee.
